Bloody Poppy

K.O.

...And through the cement of the roads,

The bloody poppy's germinating.

With stubborn growth, it builds up hope,

Keeping the white orchids expanding.

But there come new malicious kings.

After, there is a revolution

That frees our mind but breaks the will -

Scapegoats instead of resolution.

The day is short, it's all we have

Before the evil ghosts appear

To feed with our blood the men

That pass us by in silk and silver.

The more they eat, the less we live,

The more the nature’s sick.

It's harder to come up to peace,

It's easier to blame, to start wars.

And there the death ties to the birth;

We come back to the onset -

The bloody poppy always was

One step before the young white orchids...
